About Us

Redwave Media is regional radio like no other.

The leaders in WA regional advertising, Redwave Media operates three regional radio broadcasting networks: Red FM, WAFM and The Spirit Network.

Redwave Media’s regional radio network is geographically the largest radio network in Australia, servicing not only regional WA towns but also broadcasting mining radio to FIFO (fly in, fly out) workers at remote mine sites.

Offering such extensive regional advertising requires nine commercial licences, enabling Redwave Media to broadcast regional radio (and offer regional advertising) from Wyndham in the far north through to Bremer Bay in the south.

Redwave Media’s regional advertising, incorporating FIFO advertising is extremely diverse, thanks to its three major networks.

Redwave Media Networks – The voices of WA regional communities.

Red FM – If you look up ‘mining radio’ in the dictionary, you’ll see the name ‘REDFM’.

Targeting 18-39 year old listeners, REDFM regional radio broadcasts great music 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to almost 120 towns, mine sites and oil & gas platforms across WA, reaching both fly in, fly out (FIFO) workers and those living in remote townships.

Fly in, fly out (FIFO) workers represent an extremely lucrative market averaging six figure incomes. Seeking FIFO advertising? REDFM’s professional regional radio service utilises well-known Perth-based presenters and broadcasts in high quality FM definition from state-of-the-art studios in Perth. It’s mining radio at its finest.
