Another year of diverse programming at Perth Festival, which kicked off yesterday. Highlights include Il n’est pas encore minuit ... (It’s Not Yet Midnight ...), a towering and tumbling circus performance by a French collective, and The Barber Shop Chronicles, set over the course of a single day in six barber shops from London to Africa. Perth Arena, February 20
The Pink Floyd legend brings his Us + Them tour Down Under. The spectacular concert is loaded with state-of-the-art production and songs from classic albums, such as The Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall, alongside material from 2017 release Is This the Life We Really Want?. Tickets from Ticketek.
A WINDOW ON ITALY — THE CORSINI COLLECTION
Art Gallery of WA, February 24-June 18
An Australian exclusive, this lavish exhibition features masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance and Baroque from one of Florence’s greatest and oldest private art collections. Here are magnificent portraits, landscapes, historical and mythological scenes by Botticelli, Tintoretto, Caravaggio and more, which are leaving Italy for the first time. The English singer, songwriter, acoustic riff magician and hit-making juggernaut will become the first artist to play our new stadium when 55,000 fans invade for two massive concerts. Tickets from Ticketmaster.
Leeuwin Estate, March 24
Following on from James Taylor’s star turn last year, Leeuwin Estate have picked another absolute winner for their 34th annual concert. Southern Californian pop-rock maestro Jackson Browne and his acclaimed seven-piece band promise to bust out classics from 70s albums Late for the Sky, The Pretender and Running on Empty at his first WA performance in almost a decade. The Commodores legend and disco stars Chic will now play All the Hits on March 25. Lionel Richie never disappoints nor fails to work up a sweat in shows bursting with good-time tunes, such as All Night Long (All Night), Dancing on the Ceiling, Brick House and Hello. Look out! Pint-sized powerhouse and Uptown Funk hit machine Bruno Mars brings his 24K Magic World Tour to Australia. The Grammy Award-winner has built up a collection of chart-busting tunes: Locked Out of Heaven, Grenade, Marry You, That’s What I Like ... English synth-pop hottie Dua Lipa offers support. Last year saw Harry Styles make the successful transition from One Direction to a solo career, releasing his self-titled album featuring hit single Sign of the Times. Las Vegas pop-rockers the Killers returned to form with fifth album Wonderful Wonderful and a well-received performance at the AFL grand final last year. This year they rock back to Australia for an arena tour, which includes a concert at Perth Arena. Ticketek.

Heath Ledger Theatre, May 5-20
Black Swan Theatre Company performs Ray Lawler’s working-class classic Summer of the Seventeenth Doll. Set in 1950s Melbourne, two mates on another layoff season come to town to live it up with their girlfriends. Perth Arena, July 3, 4, 6 and 7
Five years after she kicked off her The Truth About Love tour with four concerts at Perth Arena, Pink will do it all again. The Beautiful Trauma World Tour explodes at the same venue across four nights. Expect more dynamic shows featuring pyrotechnics and hits galore from the mega-star. Tickets from Ticketek.
Crown Theatre, from July 22
Disney’s Broadway hit musical will make you fall in love again with the story of a diamond-in-the-rough who sets out to woo a princess. The show features 337 dazzling costumes. While Katy Perry may not have attracted glowing reviews for fifth album Witness, the American pop superstar remains a huge concert drawcard. Witness: The tour begins its Aussie leg with two Perth Arena dates. Tickets from Ticketek.
Perth Arena, August 4
The Canadian singer returns to Perth on her Live 2018 Tour. Famed for ARIA No.1 hits such as Because You Loved Me and Titanic theme song My Heart Will Go On, Dion heads to Australia for four shows (and her first gig in New Zealand). Tickets go on sale from Ticketek on February 19.
Optus Stadium, October 19
Rounding out a massive year for pop in Perth, Swift brings her Reputation World Tour to town after leaving us off her previous tour. The global jaunt doesn’t begin until May in the US, but Swift is not likely to deliver anything other than a top-shelf concert. Tickets from Ticketmaster.
Perth Arena, November 20
The Grammy Award-winning English singer returns to the arena three years after touring his multi-platinum debut In the Lonely Hour. The return visit follows the release of The Thrill of It All. Tickets from Ticketek.
Perth Arena, November 30
The queen of country pop has never played in Perth, so her long-awaited debut will be a special gig for fans. The Australian tour, which kicks off at the Arena, is also Twain’s first in nearly 20 years and follows the release of the chart-topping and deeply personal Now. Ticketek.

The hit stage show Mamma Mia! The Musical, based on the songs of ABBA, is returning to Perth with an all-new cast.
